What makes CBC Different

Why so special to other clinics?

At the Canine Bodywork Clinic (CBC), I do not aim to just 'treat your dog's condition', I instead provide a holistic treatment plan for your dogs personal needs.  Following an individual assessment of your dog, I am able to prioritise the specific needs of your dog and devise an individual treatment plan exclusively for your dog.  My main objective is to provide THE best care for your dog and I believe that a multi-modal approach, along with your vet, is undoubtedly the preeminent way.

From personal experience, I  know that the particular combination of the therapies available at CBC absolutely work together to get results and how do I know this?  Because if it was not for these combined therapies and the multi-modal approach with our vets, Two Rivers and The University of Edinburgh (Dick Vet) Hospital for Small Animals, my wonderful girl Zuri would not be with us today.

Zuri was diagnosed with hip dysplasia as a puppy.  Her x-rays showed that she had bilateral hip dysplasia.  Since that first diagnosis, she has now had a total of 5 surgeries:  1 unsuccessful Total Hip Replacement (not undertaken with either above vets), 1 Femoral Head Ostectomy, 1 Femoral Head and Neck Ostectomy with 20% of the femur removed and 2 splint implant removals. The combination of therapies pre and post surgery gave Zuri's soft-tissue the strength, durability and health to make the most remarkable recovery possible and continues to give her the best quality of life.

Depending on what your dog's specific needs are, as well as Clinical Canine Massage and/or Canine Hydrotherapy, additional therapeutic treatments are incorporated within the session, such as Canine Reflexology, Acupressure and Reiki; with more treatments coming soon.
